广西经贸职业技术学院是2004年由自治区人民政府批准成立的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，隶属自治区供销合作联社。学校现有：青山、明秀、五合（在建）三个校区，全日制高职在校生11754人，教职工358人，专兼职教师386人，拥有高级职称79人，中级职称169人，3人入选广西“十百千”拔尖会计人才。另外还聘任了一批兼职教授、企业高管及能工巧匠等充实教学及科研队伍。

学校设有商贸管理学院、财会金融学院、智能与信息工程学院、文化旅游学院、艺术设计与建筑学院、通识教育学院、马克思主义学院、智慧商务产业学院等8个二级学院，构建以商贸类专业为核心，以服务农村现代流通为特色的专业发展格局，重点建设财会金融、现代流通、商务信息化、艺术设计和旅游服务五大专业群，开设电子商务、服装与服饰设计、会计、烹调工艺与营养、市场营销等39个高职专业。
